Dodo birds were birds that could not fly like the existing penguin. Dodo birds became extinct in the late 1600's. In excess of the last few weeks of examining, a group of scienctits were investigated a 3000 year old fossil found on an island called Mauritius.Scienctits also studied the dodo's DNA, they conclude that thier DNA samples descended from pigeons, but were very mysterious. But the dodo's closest relative was the Solitaire, another extinct flightless bird that they discovered on a nearby island. The Solitaire and Dodo share common ancestors that scientists estimate lived around 25 million years ago. The mammals establish to the island by early on visitors may have been the problem. Monkeys and pigs quickly established themselves and may have competed for food, eaten dodo eggs or somehow disturb the environment.

Sunday July 2,2006

<s>Waking up sneezing with a runny nose due to cold blowing of air conditioning directly on my face, is not now i pictured waking up this morning. Wishing the aroma of my mom’s early wholesome cooking would tickle my nose and gently awaken my senses. Insted i get a harshly, rude, and cold awakening on a lazy summer day. I looked up to my clock saw it was around 9:30am knowing I had to get up and get ready to go to my cousin's house for weekly english tutoring. After my lesson, I had to climb in a car which was scorching with heat from the beaming sun and drive back home. I arrived home had the traditional lunch with the typical family.</s>

Wow; i don't think i can write about "my day" topic so i'm going to do a current event article if thats okay? But i think you can still read through the strike-through mark, can you tell me if that paragraph is okay so far? thanks.

Well i thought this article was intresting
here it the link

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/06/27/science/earth/27cool.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

and below i will write a basic "current event" that i do in school. Because i honestly don't know any other way to wrtie about this article.

Global Warming is the new world crisis that mainly scientist are worried about that is effecting the climate change that is among the most insidious threats to our environment. Because of a high percentage of pollution that we produce in our apmosphere each day by littering, greenhouse gases, water vapor, carbon dioxide, and other gases that is let loose into the air. So now scientist are trying to create an invention to help block out or shade out the UV rays that is beaming into our planet. Hopefully science will soon create anything that would help us with this terrible cause.
